How You Can Help

This work we do is often times challenging and heartbreaking, but it’s work we must do nonetheless. Whether it’s taking in a nest full of abandoned eastern cottontail babies that need feeding every two hours ’round the clock, or helping someone through a medical crisis with a beloved family bunny companion, we approach this work with dedication and the sense of a genuine call of duty.

If you should feel inspired to help us with these good works, there are many ways you can make a difference, like volunteering your time, donating funds, or by donating supplies. All of the rabbits at Rabbit Rescue and the hundreds of Texas wildlife that come through our doors each year would greatly appreciate it.

Donate Funds and Gifts
The cost of caring for the residents of WildRescue, Inc./Rabbit Rescue and our wild friends who stay with us during their rehabilitation is daunting. Food, veterinary visits, spaying & neutering, new housing, medical supplies — unfortunately the work we do at Wild Rescue is not inexpensive. We have been blessed with financial support from fellow animal lovers who understand the importance of what we do, but the need continues to be great.

To donate funds via PayPal, please do so in the top right corner of the website.

NEW! We have an Amazon Wish List with all kinds of things we need on a daily basis.  Please click here to visit our Amazon Wish List. Any items purchased from our Wish List will be delivered directly to us so we can start using them right away!

If you wish instead to donate funds by mail, you may send a check or money order to:

Diana Leggett, WildRescue, Inc.

Donate your Time
If you wish to donate your time around the rescue, we always welcome volunteers!  In volunteering your time with us, you can do any number of things either around the Rescue or at home.  We always need people to:

  • Foster domestic rabbits
  • Foster wildlife
  • Transport animals
  • Feed and water our residents
  • Help with administrative needs
  • Man our booths at outreach events
  • Fundraise
  • Keep the sanctuary grounds and rabbit room clean
  • Visit with the rabbits and give them love and affection

Even if you can only offer us a few hours a month, it can make a huge difference for the animals and our organization. To find out more about our many Volunteer opportunities, please contact us with any questions you may have.
